Another Nigerian player has found her way to the exciting Spanish Women’s football league.
The latest to join the train is Super Falcons star, Francisca Ordega who has been signed on by Spanish giants Levante,
Levante Wednesday announced they have completed the signing of the Nigeria international from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, on a two-year deal.
Ordega effectively becomes the second Nigerian at Levante after Andrea Okene,
The Benue state born forward is ninth Nigerian in the Primer Iberdrola following the footsteps of the likes Asisat Oshoala who is Barcelona, Rita Chikwelu with Madrid and Rashidat Ajibade with Atletico Madrid among others.
Ordega is not new to football in Spain having previously starred for Atletico Madrid
Regarded as one of the most beautiful in the Super Falcons set up, Ordega has played for a couple of teams before making this switch to Levante.
Ordega in the past has played for Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Rossiyanka, Piteå IF, Washington Spirit, Sydney FC (loan), and Atletico Madrid.
